Having worked for thirty-seven years, Polo’s plan was to continue working and retire at an old age. All of a sudden, he hit a big wall of infirmity when he was told he must stop working completely at such an early age of life. It was the furthest thing from his mind. There is hope for a long life with heart transplantation but Polo is facing the challenge of preparing for the financial aspects of transplant because even with insurance a transplant is very expensive. Polo needs help with his medical expenses now and in the future. One of the biggest expenses is for the costly anti-rejection medication that Polo will need to take for the rest of his life
To help with the financial burden of Polo’s uninsured expenses, a fundraising campaign in his honor has been established with HelpHOPELive, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Southeast Heart Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. Please consider making a contribution.
Thank you for your care and support.
Gratefully,
Polo Morales and family
