Michelle was born and raised in Henderson, TX. She is an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. She works with her husband, George, to help provide Walk-in-Tubs to seniors and others with disabilities. Michelle eagerly looks forward to improved health, and hopefully this procedure will make it easier to have children in the future.
The transplant can be lifesaving and life altering. Michelle’s involvement will also help get us one step closer to a legitimate cure for Type 1 Diabetes, a disease that plagues millions of children across America. However, the costs of this treatment are tremendous. The expenses needed will total to about $20,000.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Michelle’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the South-Central Stem Cell Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. If you would like to make a contribution, please click the DONATE NOW bar.
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity. Keep an eye on Michelle’s campaign page at www.helphopelive.org because we will be planning some fundraising events soon and posting updates regularly.
Gratefully,
Joyce Ybarra, Michelle’s Mother
