Kerry was released from the UVA Transitional Care Hospital! It is great that he could come home instead of going to a long term care facility. God has blessed us. I know it is because of all of the prayers that have been said on our behalf. Kerry has severe memory loss but the doctors believe this is something that will be corrected. He is going to Sheltering Arms for Cognitive Therapy (for his memory), Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. I have NO DOUBT my husband will conquer this and regain his memory and his ability to communicate effectively. Thank you all for your prayers, emotional support and financial support. We are humbled beyond belief. We are planning some fund raisers so everyone can come and have fun. This will help us financially but it is also better than asking for a donation. This way everyone can see Kerry and have fun at the same time. We look forward to seeing everyone! Check back to see what we have planned. God bless. Allie Moore

Due to Kerry receiving a new liver he has acquired a seizure disorder that requires him to stay at UVA Long Term Care Hospital. Kerry is currently receiving treatment and testing. After many tests it is still unclear as to what is causing the seizure disorder. Each time Kerry has a seizure it leaves him totally drained. Kerry's memory has been altered and he has trouble with his speech. Speech therapists and physical therapists are working with him to strengthen his abilities and get him back to the old Kerry we all know and love. Thank you all for your prayers and support. This has been a very tough time emotionally and financially and your support has been noted and extremely appreciated. Here's looking for a fantastic 20017. I know Kerry will get better and will be back to normal. God bless.
