In 1996, Michelle Brown was diagnosed with a progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis, or MS. Michelle is now confined to a wheelchair full-time with limited mobility. Despite her illness, she still lives and enjoys a good quality of life and tries to make the best of her situation. Michelle has tried many conventional medications for MS, but her condition continues to deteriorate and Michelle is in need of new treatments for her disease. Michelle has researched a promising form of therapy, known as a non-embryonic stem cell transplant, which will ideally improve Michelle’s condition and transform the quality of her life.
Michelle enjoys mentoring others and helping people in her community. Now is the time to help Michelle and the cost of her treatment. Michelle has recently been approved for stem cell therapy at a medical center in California. The cost of this treatment is not covered by Michelle’s health insurance, and will be upwards of $20,000 including travel, lodging and meal fees. Michelle is out of work and unable to afford this treatment on her own. She is asking for your support to help her with the cost of her treatment, as she cannot afford this therapy on her own.
To help with this financial burden, a fundraising campaign in Michelle’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Mid-Atlantic Stem Cell Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. To make a donation to this fundraising campaign, please click on the yellow DONATE NOW button.
Thank you ahead of time for your thoughts, prayers and generous support. Any donation amount is one step closer to a brighter future for Michelle.
Gratefully,
Michelle’s loving and supportive family and Community
