I'm not very good at updating things online very good. But here is one for the last little while. I'm working on getting everything needed for my transplant. Got my second set of shots last month. Kidneys are at 23% as of two weeks ago. Had oral surgery yesterday. That was fun.

Well, we went to my appointment for my psych evaluation, and everything went well. Got started on all of my immunizations. That was fun (not really). After all of that, we headed to Glendale, Arizona. Our drive was long and windy. I came to appreciate the wind we face in Idaho. We had talked about going to the Grand Canyon, but by the time we got there it was dark. So no Canyon this trip. We made it there just before midnight. Unpacked the car and went to bed. Friday, took a tour of the campus where Michael has spent the last two years. Graduation at noon. SO PROUD OF MY SON!!!! He has grown so much since he left home. And what a huge accomplishment! We didn't really do a lot of sightseeing. (Not really a lot to see other than highways and dirt.) But we did go to the Mesa and Phoenix Temples and spend a little time walking around. The Mesa temple had a visitors center that was pretty nice and we did spend time in there watching a couple of movies. Would highly recommend it. Saturday, Michael told us about an amusement park, but when we went over there to go, there was a food drive going on and absolutely no parking. So we didn't get to go. It was for a good cause. So instead we took Michael to the Cracker Barrel for an early dinner. He had never been there before, so that was fun. After that we headed home. Another really long drive (in the dark). Overall, the trip was good because we got to spend a little time with Michael and on such a milestone for him. Did I mention how PROUD I am of him?
