Stacy was born in Asheville, NC but grew up in Barbourville, KY. She graduated in 1987 from Knox Central High School. In 2001, she met her husband David. She worked mostly in the retail field from 1987 until 2006. Her health went down so fast in 2006 that she had to take a medical leave form her job and now she is on disability. Stacy eagerly looks forward to going back to work. She also wants to take a more active role on her church (Temple Missionary Baptist) and with her family and friends. Together, Stacy and her family are committed to see her through this transplant.
To help offset such expenses, a fundraising campaign in Stacy’s honor has been established with Help Hope Live, a trusted nonprofit organization that has been providing community-based fundraising guidance to patients and their families for more than 30 years. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, are held by Help Hope Live in the Southeast Pancreas Transplant Fund, and are administered by Help Hope Live for transplant-related expenses only. If you would like to make a contribution, please click the DONATE NOW bar.
Thank you for your prayers, support and generosity.
Gratefully,
Peggy Gill, Stacy’s sister in law
