Hello again from (very hot) Phoenix. Things are looking a little better. After receiving 4 blood plasma treatments replacing most of my plasma with donor plasma, the doctors are encouraged with a trend to the positive. They are not sure if this is due to the new kidney function or still the old kidneys. Regardless I am feeling much better, am able to get around some and even eat some real food! No treatments planned for the weekend and the doctors will reassess on Monday. Hopefully there will be indications by then that the new kidney is functioning and will continue to improve. For now I will remain in the hospital, with hopes to possibly to be released next week.

Good evening from Phoenix. A lot has happened since my last post. A lot of ups and downs. After the surgery to remove the pancreas, things did not improve as hoped with the kidney. I have received 4 units of blood, 3 rounds of dialysis, and 2 fresh frozen plasma treatments. The doctors are hoping this will help the new kidney to start functioning well. Today has been a good day. I have been able to walk a couple of times and have even eaten a little. The doctors are cautiously optimistic that things are improving. Once again thank you to everyone for your prayers and support it means so much to me and my family. Please continue to pray for the function of the new kidney. God's blessings to you all.
