I have been feeling nauseous, very tired, and having lower back pains for several weeks and thought I might be going into stage 5 kidney failure, but it is my gall bladder. I will have it removed May 22nd. Please keep me in your prayers! My kidney function is at about 20, so about 5 lower and I will go on dialysis.

Hi my name is Angie Steely. I live in a small community between Graceville and Bonifay, Florida. I have three sons and five precious grandchildren, my sweet mom, and three sisters. I found out 6 months ago I have stage 4 chronic kidney disease. I will need dialysis soon and I have been evaluated by Shands in Gainesville, have been approved for a transplant, and have until September to complete requirements in order to be put on the transplant list. One of those requirements is to make sure that I am financially able to stay in Gainesville for at least six weeks with my caregivers, which will be my mom and at least one of my sisters, which will be a huge expense. During my evaluation, I was informed that out of pocket expenses not covered by insurance could be phenomenal because of the tremendous amount of medications and frequent doctor visits. After six weeks, I can be checked by my doctors 2 times a week to make sure my body doesn't reject the kidney, and that will mean a 200 mile trip, most likely an overnight stay. I have a wonderful support team, my family and church family, and they have worked hard on a couple of successful fundraisers to help with out of pocket expenses. I know God is in control and everything will work out. I believe God will bless me with a donor that will save my life. Whatever you can give will be a Blessing to me and my family. Thank you and God bless.
