Yes, the call came! We were summoned to Temple University Hospital on November 30, 2017. I didn't go into the operating room until after 1:00am. So, I officially received a new left lung on December 1, 2017. It was an overwhelming process and definitely took some grit and guts! I was in the hospital for 12 days and was then able to go home! I am progressing well! I have been returning to Temple once a week since I got home. I did 8 minutes on the treadmill the other day without oxygen. Many of you probably don't know how bad I had gotten. I could not get food for myself. I had to take 2 oxygen tanks just to get to the bathroom. I could only do the steps once a day, and even that sometimes meant I had to go up backwards on my backside. I got really scared. I am blown away by the faithfulness of God that I doubted immensely. My family, friends and church got me through this experience and continue to do so. I have much recovery yet to do, but my progress is thanks to ALL OF YOU! Love to you all!

We are completely overwhelmed at the response to our campaign. It is so humbling to even make this request. We pray that it gives our friends and family the feeling that they are helping us in a very tangible way. We are fighting through this diagnosis and we are praying for God's perfect timing for the transplant to occur. We love you all so much. Craig, Rafe', Max and Sam
