After one turn down of lungs donated were rejected o 31 Mar 18, he is currently waiting out for another opportunity while doing physical and occupational rehab. His wife Debbie is traveling back and forth to the hospital three times a week while maintaining a full time server position. Traveling has created many additional cost and tiresome on Debbie. Soon after surgery Dan and Debbie will be relocating in Philadelphia at the Gift of Life Home for a period of about 2-3 months while traveling back and forth to Penn for daily workouts and treatments. Costs are mounting up and the family would welcome any donations designated for this.

After having the pleasure of working with Dan for the past 50+ days when he was waiting it out at GSPP, I couldn’t be happier to hear this news! Friday I told him I hope I wouldn’t see him Monday and FINALLY his day came! I’ve only known him for a short time so I can’t imagine how his family is feeling right now. Good luck Dan! ❤️
