My name is Lisa. I am a wife and mother to one son named Casey. My son and I both have kidney disease, My kidney have 6% of function left right now. I need a kidney transplant in order to keep living the life God has blessed me with. I need your help in raising money for my expenses, which includes medical bills, food, post prep, travelling to and from hospital and much more.
I have been a waitress at Ruben’s Fish House of Columbus, Mississippi for 24 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed being on my feet and serving my community. I started and have been doing dialysis for 12 months now, and I am ready to receive my transplante and get back to somewhat normal lifestyle. I miss my customers and the atmosphere of my job. I enjoyed getting to spend time with my coworkers/customers and my family as well.
By donating to my cause, you have no idea the amount of stress and weight that will lift from me specifically. My husband, Joe, and I do not have enough income to fully supply all of our needs for receiving a Kidney Transplant. We will just have enough income for our monthly bills, but all of the extra will need assistance. We will use raised funds for travelling back and fourth to hospital and doctors visits, medical bills, and much more. We would greatly appreciate anything that is given.
I have health insurance, to which only covers so much of my medical needs. I would appreciate your help in getting my Kidney Transplant. By donating, you are relieving my family from the financial stress and allowing me to recover, cope, and begin my new lifestyle with ease. After all, I have a long blessed life ahead of me. God isn’t through with me yet.
Family and friends of Melissa Gibson are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
