Brian is 57 years old and is in heart failure. He needs a heart transplant by the end of the year. Currently, Brian has a port line that goes into a vein in his chest and sends medicine directly into his heart. He is on the heart transplant list for a donor heart.
Brian has always lived a positive and productive life despite his chronic health issues. He is a friend to everyone he meets and is funny, good-hearted and a loving soul. He has a wonderful wife, Pam and three children, Brandie, Clayton and Christina. He is a grandfather to Brandon, Jose, Hunter, Josh, Lyla, Lacy and Colt who are the joys of his life.
While Brian has health insurance, many transplant expenses are surprisingly not covered, such as the monthly anti-rejection medications he needs to take for the life of his new heart. Brian has been told to anticipate upwards of $4,000 per month just for medications alone.
Donations to Help Hope Live can help ease the financial burden of a transplant and allow Brian to focus on a healthy recovery and a long life ahead with his family.
Family and friends of Brian Fritz are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Brian has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
