I am sorry to report that Kayla passed away peacefully Sunday, January 12 at 8 am. I was with her. While this is very sad, even tragic, she if finally free of pain. Her doctors and family were amazed at the valiant struggle she put up during not only her 5 months in the hospital but for the entire 3 years she has struggled with her medical problems.

The family has been so impressed with the care that she has received throughout this ordeal at Georgetown. They were not only professional, but loving and supportive.

There will not be a funeral but rather a Celebration of Life later this month. Once again we would like to thank you for your support and prayers…we are in your debt.
