Donald is a 58 year young man. He lives with Ataxia, a degenerative disease that causes damage to the cerebellum. This condition results in unsteadiness when standing and trying to walk, poorly coordinated body movements, and difficulty maintaining a straight (upright) posture- and tremors.
Donald has difficulty in speaking and a change in his vision, swallowing, and writing. It is all part of the brain that controls coordination. Donald is living in a mobility wheelchair where he spends his days. Donald is home and we don’t have a vehicle to transport his wheelchair, so he is in the house all day. Three days a week we have a lady come and help put him in the shower because the restroom needs to be remodeled to fit his need as a disabled person with a wheelchair.
Donald is a friendly man that loves to talk to everyone. When he was working as a Restaurant Manager, he was a very outgoing person. Please help Donald fundraise for the things that will make his basic care easier, and an accessible vehicle to help him be able to leave his house and socialize again!
Family and friends of Donald Webber are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.
Donald has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
