At birth I was born with congenital heart defects and to this day I continue to have heart problems along with other health problems.

Around the age of seven I developed spinal meningitis and shortly after that rheumatic fever. Early in the 1990s, while driving trucks, I started having angina, severe chest pain, attacks. During the latter part of that same year I had open heart surgery, in which they sealed a hole in my heart and repaired the aortic heart valve. Ten years following my open heart I had a heart valve replaced with a mechanical heart valve. Between the years 2000 and 2014, I was diagnosed with endocarditis, cardio-myopathy and had a Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) placed in me to keep track of my heart rate. To this date my Defibrillator has hit me 13 times. December 2013, I developed an atrial flutter and had a ablation and a month later had an atrial focal tachycardia and had another ablation. The year 2019, I was diagnosed with leg edema, which is associated with heart failure. I was also diagnosed with ascites and possibly cirrhosis of the liver.
