In 2003, I contracted a lung condition called Sarcoidosis. This was due to inhaling a chemical at work. Since then, I’ve been using supplemental oxygen and have been taking medication to help me breath. A lung transplant is necessary, because my oxygen level is not where it should be while a person is in motion. If I would get a Respiratory Virus, it could be fatal.
In the past 18 years, I’ve volunteered at my church, a local sportsman’s club, and a Christian camp here in Ohio. I love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family.
My family and friends are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
I have chosen to fundraise with them in part, because they assure fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
