As of June 1st we have gotten approval for open communications with my donor family. We are very excited to meet and share stories of their son who's my donor and his name is Hunter and I am very excited to meet them and let them know just how grateful I am that they were registered donors. Going to be a special moment and I can't wait for their phone call or email since it is up to them now they have all my information so I'm waiting for them to contact praying that it comes soon and everything goes well. When we do meet and talk I'll ask if it's okay if I share on this update how everything went and if they approve I'll give everyone an update God bless. And please if you're not a registered organ donor or organ and tissue donor please register go online organ donation and register it only takes five or 10 minutes thank you.

For those of you who do not know what has been going on in Paul's and my life, please read all the previous letters to understand. First of all, we want to thank all of you who were so generous with your prayers, thoughts and generosity. We are so grateful to have such wonderful, caring people in our life's. Some of you actually donated more than once or twice, confirming not only how blessed we are to have you in our life's, but also what generous, loving, caring people you are. I strongly believe in "karma", so need I say anymore???? We wanted to let everyone know that we have been in contact through letters with Paul's donor's family. They are such loving, caring people and want to meet us as much as we want to meet them. We are going through the steps that are necessary, and if all goes as planned, we will meet them in person this summer. Paul is enjoying life without oxygen tanks :-). He loves throwing the ball with our grandson, riding his bicycle, working out in the gym here (where we rent) and being able to cook again! You know I am so grateful about that since he is definitely a better cook than I. :-). Unfortunately, we are still in the position where we need help. Pretty crazy how Medicare will pay that steep dollar for the Transplant, but they refuse to help with some of the anti rejection and immunosuppressant medications that he needs to take to stay alive. Go figure!!
