Still healing. Had my liver transplant and eight months later had to have back surgery. Six fractures in five bones in my back and eight broken ribs. My bones have become so fragile that I can stand from a seated position and actually break a bone. Recently, they found a pinched nerve in my mid-back and I don't know yet how that will be treated.
NOW, I have to go back to Vanderbilt because I have "sludge" in an artery or in a vein. I don't remember which. They will either give me a needle in my jugular or a groin stick. Lovely. Through that IV, they will "flush out" that blood that has become sludge. Thank goodness they will put me to sleep for this as it is a very painful procedure.
Basically, I still hurt all over. Nothing like right after my surgery, but it still hurts. Also, my liver enzymes are up and we just can seem to regulate the meds that will keep the enzymes at the level they say.
Please, keep me in your prayers.

It's been a long time since I posted an update. I'll try to catch you up on things. I had my liver transplant on Valentine's Day 2015. It's been a rough ride. Eight months later, I had to have back surgery due to six fractures in five bones. I also had several ribs that had cracked. I didn't fall, I just have very fragile bones. Now? Well, now, nine months later...another surgery. A new MRI found a pinched nerve in my mid-back. Back to the OR.
Medical bills are still drowning us. We won't live long enough to get them all paid. That's why I write this now. I'm asking for your help. If you feel so led, I'm asking for your tax deductible donation to help us out of this financial hole.
Read my page, learn about HelpHopeLive, learn a little about me. See how you can help. Hit the yellow "Donate Now" bar to learn how to make a donation. Below right, you'll find the address to mail your check or money order. DO NOT SEND CASH!!
I've finally found enough pictures of my family so you can see my support team.
I want to thank you in advance for your donations. Keep checking in for more updates. God bless.
