John went into surgery friday Jan. 30th, 2015. The surgery went Great took about 8 hours. John went into ICU right after and was in there only for a day. He is now in a private room at the wonderful Stanford hospital in Palo Alto. The doctors say John is doing amazing in recovery, but John knows that this is a long process and will have Up and Down days ahead of himself.
