Some good news, but still waiting: We've completed all the steps necessary to get Crystal back to "active" status on the Donor Recipient list! As I imagine with all chronic illness/disease, there are good days and bad. Crystal has always had a fighting spirit, but more recently she has been unable to work as often as she would like due to the physical effects of dialysis and the kidney failure itself. We eagerly anticipate the call that an organ has become available and pray its a good fit/match. It will mean surgery, recovery, time off work, new meds. It won't be easy, but it truly can't come soon enough.
As always, thank every one of you that has donated, shared links, said prayers or just said a kind word. We truly appreciate everyone's kindness and certainly understand most of you have your individual struggles as well. Times are not easy & things are not cheap, which is why even a dollar or two still means a lot. Because most people do not have it to spare. They will give it out of kindness, but go without something else. Generosity. Philanthropy. Acts of kindness, even on the smallest level, can truly make a huge difference, have a huge impact on someone's current outlook, or possibly the rest of their life. That is huge. That is something we should teach, encourage and reward more. Not greed, giving. Not hate, loving. Not me, us. Not why, how.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update. Crystal's 2nd fistula port (right arm this round) is healing well. She's been so tough thru it all (returning to work a week after surgery.) We have an appointment mid-July to get the port examined and cleared for use, at which point she can have the perm-cath removed (again). We are also VERY close to getting her back as "active" on the transplant list. Please continue to send prayers & wishes of wellness. Donations are still being accepted @ Help Hope Live for Crystal Lynn Webster. Thank you all again, from the bottom of our hearts. We truly appreciate everyone's support.
