Dear Friends, Family and Community,

My husband, Robert (Bobby) Adams is 33 years young and was suddenly hospitalized this past January. Up until then he was always healthy. After many unknowns regarding his condition, remaining in a drug-induced coma for over a month, and being on ECMO life-support, he was diagnosed with acute interstitial pneumonia. His doctors still do not know the exact cause of his illness but it was eventually determined that his only chance at survival would be receiving a lung transplant. We are thrilled to tell you that Bobby received the gift of life – a life-saving lung transplant on the 1st day of spring – March 20, 2015
