Happy New Year to all of you! Jeremy and I are doing great. It will be 5 months next week since the transplant. Jeremy celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday the 28th. We will soon be celebrating his wedding this April. I am doing great. Gained back some of my weight so I look healthier than ever. I still can't believe that I was so blessed to have been able to be here today to write this to you. Thank you again for all of your prayers, emotional and financial support. It has meant the world to myself and my family.

Hello and happy holidays to all of my friends, families and those I don't even know ( you anonymous people you ). I want to thank you for your contributions this year. I also want to remind you that they were all tax deductible. Because of that I need to ask you for continued support. There have been unexpected occurrences. I developed cataracts in both eyes ( very much could be caused by the medications I am on now). There is a $1000.00 out of pocket expense. So far I had my right eye done since I was unable to see anything but a blurr. Now I see floaters that are black but I'll take it. Whenever they stay still I can see pretty well. Lol. Next eye is Feb. Jeremy is doing so well he says he forgets that we ever had surgery. He is getting ready for his wedding in April. I am still getting blood work every week and am in contact often with my liver care coordinator. My labs showed rejection but have been getting better. The first three months are critical and we made it through that. The first year is the next hurdle. It is not easy to ask for help but it's also not really a choice. We will be having fund raisers next year as well. I am very excited about being well enough to help with the living donor program. I would love to talk to potential patients for the program and give them hope.
