In Fiscal Year 2014, HelpHOPELive partnered with more than 1,300 families to coordinate fundraising campaigns in honor of loved ones facing severe financial hardship because they need a transplant or are living with a catastrophic injury or illness.
You Help HOPE Live in communities seeking the means to assists neighbors in need.
Last year, HelpHOPELive provided the necessary tools and support to help thousands of community volunteers execute hundreds of successful fundraisers, raising over $9.6 million to help patients and families cover unmet medical expenses.
You Help HOPE Live in the minds of those facing the most difficult challenge of their lives.
Funds raised through HelpHOPELive campaigns in FY 2014 provided more than $7.4 million in needed financial support to more than 1,200 people, helping at least 185 patients receive a transplant and restoring independence and quality of life for 100 newly injured individuals.
In addition to providing community-based fundraising support, with your help we were also able to:
Award more than 300 challenge grants to patient campaigns in recognition of fundraising progress, totaling $255,000.
Provide 74 one-time emergency grants to patients needing immediate assistance to avert a medical crisis, totaling $90,555.
HelpHOPELive maintains one of the highest ratings for nonprofit fiscal responsibility and delivery of service to patients. In FY 2014, Charity Navigator recognized HelpHOPELive as the No.1 rated charity in Philadelphia.
Because the vast majority of donations we receive are restricted to pay for our clients’ medical expenses, funding for operational expansion is limited. In order to enhance and expand our services we depend on the generosity of foundations, corporations and individuals to support these efforts.
