About this Fundraiser
As many of you know, I have been fighting a serious liver condition for 5 years. Recently, my doctors at Adventhealth transplant have determined that a liver transplant is necessary to save my life.
While I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity to receive a second chance at life, the journey ahead is challenging. The cost of the surgery, lifelong immunosuppressant medications, and travel/lodging expenses is overwhelming. While insurance helps, it does not cover everything.
We are aiming to raise $50,000 to cover these costs so I can focus solely on my recovery and returning to spending time with my husband, kids, grandchildren and back to work as a nurse.
