As many of you know, I have been living with diabetes and high blood pressure for a very long time, but in 2011, while living in South Korea, these conditions almost took my life. I was in a coma for six days. In fact, the doctors thought there was no hope and pulled the plug on the life support machines keeping me alive. I was told they declared me clinically dead for some hours.
BUT …. GOD!
My heart began beating and I awoke from my coma! God is good!
This is where my transplant story begins, but it is far from over. Six years later I am still in need of kidney transplant. However, there are many uninsured costs associated with this type of transplant.
Therefore, I need to raise money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation, so I have chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility to the full extent allowed by law for donors. Donors can be sure that funds donated will be used only to pay or reimburse medically-related expenses.
Help Hope Live also helps me to keep my family and friends updated. To keep informed, check my campaign page for updates, pictures, and videos about my story.
Finally, If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Donate Now button.
