Dear Friends & Neighbors,
Mark Fulton and Jessica Erke, both lifelong residents of Saint Augustine, FL, want to thank all of you for the support you have given them over the last several months during Mark’s transplant journey. As you know, Mark was on the liver transplant waiting list at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, and on October 25th he received his gift of life — his liver transplant. Now he is on the road to better health and healing and continues to need many prayers and wishes from all of you.

Even with insurance, Mark will have many uninsured transplant-related expenses, such as: co-pays and deductibles, doctor visits and the costly immunosuppressant medications that he will need to take for the rest of his life. This presents a financial challenge the family cannot meet alone.

To help with these expenses, a fundraising campaign in Mark’s honor has been established with HelpHOPELive (formerly NTAF), a nonprofit organization that has been assisting the transplant community for nearly 30 years. All contributions are tax-deductible, are held by HelpHOPELive in the Southeast Liver Transplant Fund, and are administered by HelpHOPELive for transplant-related expenses only. You can help make a difference in Mark’s life. Please consider making an end-of-year tax-deductible contribution today.Yours truly,

Friends of Mark and Jessica,
Karen Keep Carol Rovinsky Barry Tully

Mark,
I want to wish you well. I remember your dad and I saw your mom at the Fullerwood Block Party, Sunday.
I have emailed this link to a dozen or so of my friends and have also taken a copy of this page up to The Record and gave it to Anne Heymen who I trust will run a story at some point. I have worked at The Record from 1966 to the present although I did retire from fulltime work around 2001.
Thoughts and prayers will continue for you.

Oops! Carol, I didn't mean to leave you out of the last posting. Once I hit the send button, there was no taking it back.

Karen and Carol - Thanks for the untold hours that both of you have spent doing research on this website, accounting rules, 501c corporations, the fantastic flyer, prescription research and the list goes on. Jessica must feel great comfort with both of you standing at her side.
