Christine is a widowed mother living on a fixed income. She was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2014. Now in need of a donor, Christine’s adopted sister Jennifer didn’t even hesitate in being tested to see if she could be a match. Even though the sisters are not biological, Jennifer was a perfect match to donate a kidney to Christine.
Jennifer is a single mother of three and Christine wants to make sure that she does not suffer any financial burdens while giving this selfless gift of life. Donations made to Help Hope Live in Christine’s honor will go to offset both Christine’s and Jennifer’s unmet medical costs, so they can both focus on a happy, healthy recovery and a lifetime of sisterhood.
Family and friends of Christine Decker are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Christine has chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
