Remington is 2 years old and has an illness known as Biliary Atresia. Because of the liver damage caused by this condition she needs a transplant very soon. From here on out we’re going to need all the help we can get with donations for our 6 week stay during her transplant and other transplant expenses, including medication. It is very important that she gets the transplant soon, for her future depends on it.
She is the most joyful, loving two year old you could ever meet, especially considering all the challenges she has been going through. We are blessed she will be getting the help she needs but we do need to ask you to help us.

We have news!!! Remington received her gift of life on December 30th, 2019!!! She is doing remarkably well and improving every day. Her surgery took place at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. This was her 5th offer and was finally her perfect liver! She was in the hospital for about a week and continued to stay in Houston for about a month, getting labs and checkups. Since we have been home she has had several checkups back in Houston with her transplant team and in Oklahoma City with her specialist. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, they have been having her continue labs in our hometown and are adjusting meds accordingly. When she came home from Houston she was on at least 10 medications. Those have been reduced to 4!! She will continue to be on anti-rejection medication for life but her body has already shown so many signs of improvement. Her energy is through the roof! We are including some pictures of Remy taken in March to show her incredible spirit and sweet nature but most importantly, her improved health!! Thank you all so much for your donations, prayers and well wishes. We could not have made it through without them! Please continue to remember her and especially the donor family, for their amazing gift of donation, during an agonizing time. They are true heroes.
