Thank you for coming to Ashiely’s page!

We wanted to tell you a little about Goodpasture Sydrome. Goodpasture Sydrome is a rare auto immune disease that attacks the kidneys and lungs. The disease occurs when the body’s immune system mistakenly produces antibodies against collagen in the lungs and kidneys. The disease has only attacked Ashiely’s kidneys.

Ashiely was diagnosed with GPS in May 2005. She spent two weeks in the hospital and was there for her 17th birthday. During her stay in the hospital she received three blood transfusions and was on dialysis for four long months. After the treatments Ashiely was in remission, her kidneys had healed enough and she didn’t need dialysis any longer.

Me and my family want to thank everyone that has donated. We really appreciate it. I found out recently that Davis is back dating my wait time for the transplant list to 2005, from when I was on dialysis before, so now I have a lot of wait time accrued. I should be getting a call soon. The lord has been good. I love you all.

You are whole and complete and perfect in God's grace and love. I am thankful for this knowing and I let it go and give thanks that it is so. And so it is. All the best!
