Let me introduce Ariel E. Benites. He is an incredible 40 year old man who is in dire need of a kidney. He has two Bachelors Degrees, one in Criminal Justice and one in Computer Forensics.
In May of 2016, he accomplished his Masters Degree in Homeland Security and graduated Cum Laude. All this to say, that Ariel accomplished this without monetary help from his parents or family. All this came to fruition while battling kidney disease which continues to deteriorate as you read this. While hospitalized, he worked on his assignments even when near death. He made a commitment and was going to follow through.
In addition, Ariel has been in the workforce since the age of 13. While attending college, Ariel continued to work full time and at times working up to three jobs. He is presently employed as a Police Sergeant, works part-time as a paramedic and teachers part-time at Chestnut Hill College. Ariel has never asked for help and dislikes being pitied.
Growing up in an intact family, he attended Catholic Schools all of his life, was dedicated to his parish and enjoys being of help to his community without thinking of himself. In addition, Ariel grew up in a law enforcement household and several people in his extended family, such Aunt, and Cousins are and were in the field of law enforcement. Again, Ariel’s dedication to his employment(s) and education comes from family tradition and his love for the well being of others.
So many times he has risked his life for others, he volunteers whenever there is a crisis and treats the public with the utmost respect. Ariel does not smoke, drink nor does he party. He is loyal, well grounded, respectful, loves his family and friends.
Ariel’s family hopes and prays that the Lord touches someone’s heart to donate. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this and even if unable to help, God bless.
We are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live in Ariel’s honor to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
We chose to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors.
