On August 31, 2019, our 14 year old son Boden was having fun catching football passes on a trampoline with his brother and cousins when he landed wrong and immediately lost all feeling from the neck down.

Boden fractured his c4-c5 vertebrae and injured his spinal cord. After being airlifted to Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania, he underwent immediate spinal surgery with potentially more surgeries in the future. His long term prognosis is unclear at this time. However, we do know that he is projected to be at the hospital and/or an inpatient rehabilitation center for at least several months, or as long as he continues to make progress, to regain movement in his upper and lower body.

Mrs. Miller and family, You mean so much to Coleman and all of the students lucky enough to be in your class last year at SRMS. We have spent many nights praying for you all and Coleman ran in the race at the high school last week and wears Boden's number on his football cleats. We believe in his ability to heal and please know how much you are loved and held up in the healing light.
