Our good friend Jeff Wilkerson has known for several years that the possibility of liver failure was in his future. All the while he remained a great friend and family man to those who know him, not once bemoaning the inevitable.

Jeff was an active man just a few years ago, playing softball and golf with his family until End Stage Liver Disease took away his ability to enjoy such activities. Jeff and Mo have raised two amazing children together and look forward to planning weddings and enjoying grandkids. Jeff’s only hope to continue on his life’s journey was a liver transplant.

Our prayers for Jeff were answered on October 15th when his wife of 27 years, Mo gave the gift of a portion of her liver to Jeff, saving his life. Now in recovery, the Wilkersons face the many challenges that accompany this life altering medical procedure. Our hope is to reduce part of that burden.
