Jeff was an active man just a few years ago, playing softball and golf with his family until End Stage Liver Disease took away his ability to enjoy such activities. Jeff and Mo have raised two amazing children together and look forward to planning weddings and enjoying grandkids. Jeff’s only hope to continue on his life’s journey was a liver transplant.
Our prayers for Jeff were answered on October 15th when his wife of 27 years, Mo gave the gift of a portion of her liver to Jeff, saving his life. Now in recovery, the Wilkersons face the many challenges that accompany this life altering medical procedure. Our hope is to reduce part of that burden.
We are asking friends and family to join us in fundraising for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to help with critical expenses during their months of recuperation. The climb is steep, but we are confident that together we can provide a helping hand to ease the steps in getting their lives back.
We have chosen to fundraise for Help Hope Live in part because Help Hope Live assures fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button.
