On august 25th, 2015, mother of two, Tanisha Harris was in a traumatic hit and run car accident. Tanisha was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with a c5-c7 spinal cord injury. She was left unable to walk. After a few weeks of treatment, Tanisha started working with Project Walk. A local paralysis recovery center and has been going through intense therapy to learn how to walk again.

Tanisha has always been very active in her community. She loves spending time with her two kids, Nai’leh and Khalei. Before her injury she and her family used to always climb Stone Mountain. With all her dedicated hard work and effort, she is determined to be able to climb that mountain again!
