PLEASE, I NEED YOUR HELP !!!

My name is Lisa. I am 56 years young and cannot live much longer without a double lung transplant. I have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ( COPD ) and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. For many years I’ve been on oxygen 24/7. For over a year now I have had an IV in my chest, which is connected to an IV pump, which gives me continuous medication. All this makes it very difficult to visit family and friends, and limits my daily activities. I also have Congestive Heart Failure, which may lessen or even disappear after transplant. This transplant can save my life and let me live a close to normal life again. That would be so wonderful. I have recently been baptized into The Church of Christ in Beaumont, CA and have faith in God. He gives me strength every day to keep on going. I am very grateful.

I am receiving SSI, so I am on a very low fixed income and living paycheck to paycheck. I am raising money for the non-profit Help Hope Live to cover the expenses that my insurance will not cover after transplant; post-transplant medications, home health care. I am required to temporarily relocate close to the transplant center ( UC San Diego ) for a minimum of 3 months after the transplant to access care following my discharge from the hospital.
