My son Alexander is facing kidney failure and dialysis.

Alexander was born with a genetic condition that results in kidney failure. He already has 75% hearing loss from the Kidney disease. The time is remarkably close for him to require dialysis until he can get a transplant. We are looking for friends and family to help through the nonprofit Help Hope Live. The exorbitant medical costs, hospitalization and lodging near the transplant center, after the transplant will be offset with these donations.

Alexander just graduated high school, found a job and started college but his kidney function began to decline and led to him having to set college aside. At 15% kidney function, it will not be long before he will be in total failure and needing dialysis until a transplant is available.
It is shocking that $6,500 is the required deductible for the transplant surgery even with insurance. The anti-rejection medications can run $5,000 or more a month and Alex will be required to take these the rest of his life after the kidney transplant.
