Kindness and Kidneys for Trisha!
Trisha’s long battle with kidney disease has come to a critical point. She is in end stage kidney failure and now only has a function level of 9% in both kidneys. In order to cure this, Trisha needs to have a kidney transplant. Trisha is asking family, friends, and strangers to help her fundraise for the nonprofit organization, Help Hope Live*. Help Hope Live will use all funds donated to support Trisha throughout the transplant process. The funds she raises will go to the transplant expenses not covered by insurance, her anti-rejection medications, the additional health insurance coverage needed, the expenses of the living donor, emergency living expenses, and travel and lodging for before, during, and after her transplant.
Trisha is a well-loved and active member of our community. She is a wonderful daughter, wife, friend, and auntie. She has worked in local daycares and schools for over 20 years. The staff and children who have had the privilege of working with her, love and respect her dearly. Trisha has a big heart and will do anything for her family, friends, and “kids.”

I am now a little over 7 months post-transplant. I am doing really well. I have only had very few minor hick-ups. One being that I have lost a lot of hair from the meds, but luckily I started with a ton! That has finally slowed down a bit. So far your funds have gotten me a blood pressure machine and covered my Medicare premiums. I would not be able to pay for the extra insurance coverage without your donations. So, thank you so much!

I had some bloodwork done yesterday for a completely different reason.... the lab called my doctor's office after seeing my numbers. I have made the decision to start hemodialysis so that I will be in the best shape that I can be for surgery the 29th.

Today I got the news that I have a matching donor!!! We are set to have the transplant done on September 29th!!

Hey everybody...
As of today I have a consult with the surgeon to get my port for dialysis on the 21st. I also have people in the process of finding out if they are a good match to give me a kidney. Covid seems to be holding up appointments for that process :/
