Jodyanne’s long battle with idiopathic pulmonary hypertension of 10 years has come to a critical point. Her chronic lung condition has progressed so much over the years that she needs a double lung transplant now.
Jodyanne has always lived a positive and productive life despite her chronic lung condition. Her love for God, her two daughters, Autumn and Skyla, her boyfriend, her family, and her friends kept her going. She never let her health challenges get in her way. This had helped her avoid the evitable for a long time, but now her chronic lung condition had drastically worsened. Her primary central line IV medications and her oxygen therapies are no longer working as well as they did before, even taken at the higher doses. It is hard to see her two teenaged girls see her this way.
Every day is more of a challenge for Jodyanne and her health deteriation caused by her pulmonary hypertension is taking a piece of her away each day. Without a double lung transplant, her time here will eventually run out.
Jodyanne is young, well loved, has a big heart, and will do anything for her family and friends. Now more than ever, she needs our help.
Joyanne is asking family, friends, and strangers to help her fundraise for a non-profit organization, HelpHopeLive. HelpHopeLive uses the funds to support Jodyanne throughout the transplant process. The funds she raises will go to the transplant expenses not covered by insurance, her immunosuppressant and anti-rejection medications, the additional health insurance coverage needed, emergency living expenses, and relocation expenses from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania; travel and lodging before, during and after her transplant.
