Family and friends of RoxAnn Manley are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.

When I was first told I needed a lung transplant I was terrified. I have a close family friend who had two and did not survive. but as I looked at my youngest I realized I really wanted to live to see how far he goes. But before I can get my transplant I must fix my other medical issues first. The biggest issue I’m having is my teeth. I sleep with a Cpap machine which has dried out my teeth to the point they have broken off in my mouth. I need to fix them not only so I can eat but that I can mentally feel good about myself again. I’m a front desk agent and when we started wearing masks I could at least hide my smile. Now that the time is coming to take off the mask I’m embarrassed and scared. As you see my smile was my signature. I learned early on that my smile can make anyone’s day better. Since losing it I spend more time crying than smiling. I can’t eat and that’s not helping my other health conditions and if I cannot eat after the surgery I’ve been told I may not get better. Please help me get my smile back.
