I just want to use a few sentences to explain how this disease, ALS, irrevocably changed our lives.
I was on dialysis for 7 years while working and supporting Vivi and our two children. By 2018 I was in bad shape. Fortunately the universe smiled upon us and I was transplanted September 26, 2019, but not before being crushed by Vivi’s diagnosis.
We have been battling life threatening health conditions for nearly a decade. Lost so much already and today we fight against a disease that has claimed all of its victims.
Vivi was diagnosed with ALS in late 2018, just prior to my kidney transplant. We have two young children, ages 7 and 10. We fully understand our chances and we just want to spend as much fun time with our kids. Vivi wants to enjoy her life as much as she can, living in the moment and surrounding ourselves with happiness and positivity, and by the grace of god give us greater strength to stay alive in the eve of, what is hopefully, a watershed moment for ALS treatments in the world.
I am here appealing to people I have never met before because I am desperate to give my wife every chance at happiness. I am desperate to make new and great memories for our boys so that if we lose this battle with ALS my boys will have great last memories with their mom. I am hoping to raise money to purchase a wheelchair van so my family and I can get out and be the family we once were able to be.
Please share this story, donate if you can do so comfortably.
Thank you so much, and stay safe and healthy.
“There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state with another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness. We must have felt what it is to die, Morrel, that we may appreciate the enjoyments of life.
” Live, then, and be happy, beloved children of my heart, and never forget, that until the day God will deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is contained in these two words, ‘Wait and Hope.”
― Alexandre Dumas

Hello my friend, I just seen your wife\'s Story shared on Fox news. My heart breaks for you and your family. I pray that the Lord will strengthen you and give you the boldness to carry on when that day comes . I would like to reach out personally if I may via email or possibly in person. I have been where you are and know personally the journey your family is going through. I lost my wife about 3years ago to a very bad cancer battle. She was 39, we have 2 kids and also shared 14 years..

Hello I seen your story on WFTV.
My son is Peter Kramer was recently diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. He was told he has 6 months to a year.
