Family and friends of Patrice Jetter are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with Catastrophic Illness.

Patrice Jetter has diplegic cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities. She wears leg braces and walks with a crutch. She lives independently in her own apartment and loves decorating with her own style.
She needs a newer model accessible van so she can continue to work as a school crossing guard, a job she loves very much. She’s also very active in the community. She also does bowling, bocce, and Figure Skating (she skates better than she walks) in the New Jersey Special Olympics.
You also can see her in Episode 5 called “Uniforms” in the docuseries, “Worn Stories”, a show about clothes and the stories behind them.
She also volunteers time with kids at IceLand Rink’s “Learn to Skate” program and their summer camp as well.
She will be representing New Jersey at the 2022 USA GAMES in Orlando FL, as an athlete leader and a membership of the Logo Design Team. She is also an avid artist and a model railroad enthusiast. Her other van was 18 years old when it died. She really needs a much newer model accessible van so she can continue to work and be active in her community.

After a year and a half of not being able to go to work, not being able to participate in some of my Special Olympics sports, having to rely on NJ Transit Accesslink, and my friends for rides, on August 4, 2023, I got my new accessible van! Best of all, it’s my dream van—a 2019 Toyota Sienna XLE, pearl red! She’s beautiful! Her name is “Bernadette”, in honor of the former owner’s wife who died of MS a few months ago. I have my independence back! I can do more not just for myself, but I can help others. Pay it forward! Thank you to all those who made this possible! I would not be where I am if it wasn’t for all the love and support I got to make this happen!

Inspired by your movie and by my husband’s 38-year career at a NY rehab hospital. Keep up the good fight.
