Received the phone call there was a liver around 7 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 to head to UF Health in Gainesville for preop preparation. Told at 5 pm liver was good and it was a go and surgery for transplant was at 7 pm. Came out of surgery at 2 a.m. - 7 hour surgery. Around 7 a.m. blood flow was not good and sent back into surgery for another 2 hours. I am currently in ICU and all my vitals are good and liver is functioning and no body rejection. Today, Monday, October 24 2022 between 4 and 5 pm I will return to surgery for all to be permanently placed and closed up. I could not be any happier to have a renew on life!
