11/3/2023 - Well, guys it is getting close for me to get a liver transplant I so desperately need. I have had a lot of set backs this year but now I am hopefully healthy enough the surgery. I go back to Nashville for a doctor’s appointment on November 30th and then on December 13th, I will have a procedure to make sure I’m not bleeding internally. Then it’s just a matter of time waiting on the Donors to be evaluated and schedule surgery.
Thank you so much for all your support. I am still asking and praying more people will sign up to be potential Donors. If this is something you feel lead to do, please go to this link to signup: vanderbilthealth.com
Please use my name, specifically. Also, I am still trying to raise money to help with my expenses.
To keep y’all updated, I plan on posting more during the upcoming weeks until and after my transplant .
Thanks Again and Much Love,
Leia♥️
UPDATE:
To say April was a hard month, is an understatement. I’ve never been so sad, sick, angry, heartbroken and scared in my life. My brother passed away on April 6th. I found him in his home after having a massive heart attack. My brother and I were so close. He was my best friend, my biggest supporter, my protector and my ride or die. I miss him so much. Two weeks after his funeral, my father had surgery due to some blockage in his left leg. The doctors at St. Vincent’s decided the only way to save his life was amputation. So here we are grieving my brother and taking care of Dad. But, let me tell you about my Mom. SHE IS A WARRIOR! She is taking care of me and Dad all while she is grieving her son. I don’t know what we would do without her. It’s like she has super natural powers.
I tell y’all all of this to let you know a transplant could NOT come fast enough.
Please consider being a donor. You would be truly saving my life. To check and see if you can be match, go the link below (be sure and specify my name):
I’m still asking for donations to help cover my medical expenses that my insurance will not pay. Also, please remember my family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you and lots of love,
Leia❤️
UPDATE:
I had a procedure on 04/04/2023 to band some arteries in my neck. The arteries were aneurysms and if ruptured, I would have bled out. I have another one that is laying over my liver. This has to be corrected before I can get a transplant. I go back in July for this correction. My team says I should be able to get my transplant end of August or early September. If you would like to help, please check to see if you are a match to donate a portion of your liver. This is the only way I will be able live. Please go to the following link to see if you can be a match for me.
I’m also still asking for donations to help cover my costs that my insurance will not pay.
Thank you so much!

New goal. I am going to have to stay in Nashville after I get out of the hospital. I will either have to rent an apartment or stay in a motel close by Vanderbilt for about 6-8 weeks. My insurance does not cover this. Please help me raise money to cover these medical expenses. Thank you again. Much love to all.
Please donate to help with my medical bills.
Thank you so much for visiting my page. My journey for a new liver has been a long, heartbreaking and painful experience. As of Thanksgiving 2022, I had given up.
Then in December, I had an appointment in Madison with a Vanderbilt Doctor. He told me I could have a living liver donor. I was completely beside myself. For the first time in a very long time, I had HOPE. Funny thing about hope, it fills you up and you see your future again. Did I mention, that I am smiling too? So here I am looking for someone to donate a portion of their liver to save my life. If you would consider it, please click on the link below and complete the form. Be sure to put my name in the section to receive the liver and see if you are a potential donor. We can always HOPE.
