Family and friends of Shannon Bronson are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation. I’m currently active on the transplant list

A little History on why I need a kidney transplant. I have PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) which is a genetic disorder (passed from and affected parent my mother) it causes many fluid-filled cysts to grow in your kidneys causing function decline. It has caused my kidneys to enlarge and lose function to the point of needing a Transplant. A typical kidney is the size of your fist my have grown to 5 times that size There is no cure for PKD except get a transplant or do dialysis.

My father-in-law passed away from PSK some years after receiving a kidney donation from his wife. There is always the chance my husband, brothers-in-law or son may be diagnosed. Prayers for the surgeries, recovery, and for a long life ahead!
