Family and friends of Wade Farnsworth are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation.
Wade has been battling end stage kidney failure since 2021. Wade spent that summer in and out of the hospital due to complications that all started from a foot infection. After trying several antibiotics, he had a severe allergic reaction to one that send him to the ICU. The last one that they put him on shut down his kidneys. He has been on dialysis ever since. That was 2 years ago.
The mortality rate of a dialysis patient is around 9% per year with 40-50% 5 year survival rate. Wade has finally made it onto the transplant list and needs your help.
