The progression of his disease has taken a toll, forcing him to step back from work and deal with brain fog and confusion that make everyday tasks overwhelming.Robert is currently in the process of qualifying for the transplant list at UCLA, and while this is a hopeful step, the road ahead is fraught with uncertainty. ❤️ AN UPDATE ON ROBERT’S LIVER JOURNEY ❤️
We got the official call yesterday that we have been praying and fighting for — Robert is officially being placed on the Stanford liver transplant list. 🙏🏼
Stanford has given us an estimated 4–6 month window for his transplant surgery. We are now awaiting final insurance approval and, most importantly, for a liver to become available.
That means that now more than ever, we are hitting the pavement to raise funds.
Robert will be out of work and on disability for an unknown amount of time while he goes through this transplant, surgery, and recovery. The financial burden of everything ahead is something our family is trying to prepare for, and we know we cannot do it alone.
Stanford has gone above and beyond for Robert and our family. Through their evaluation, they confirmed that his liver disease began with undiagnosed fatty liver disease. They also discovered that Robert was born with two portal arteries supplying his liver, which will create some additional complications during transplant. His surgical team expects the procedure to take an additional hour or two because they will need to create a second arterial graft.
The incredible news is that this will not disqualify Robert from transplant or prevent him from getting the lifesaving care he needs. ❤️
We have also been incredibly fortunate that, so far, the cancer has not spread outside of his liver. Because his cancer is within the liver cells, a liver transplant is the treatment that offers him the chance to beat this cancer and move forward with his life.
So here we are.
We have made it this far because of the prayers, love, generosity, and support of so many amazing people. But we still have a long road ahead, and the urgency of raising the funds we need weighs heavily on all of our hearts.

I just want you to know I know what your going through I’ve been in the same situation I know the stress the financial stress all the testing the radiation knowing and dealing with it every day I want you to know that God is Good never give up faith going threw a storm remember there’s always light and end of a storm on June 6 2026 I got the call am 37 days transplant let God take over my fears and worry’s and never giving up my faith so keep up the Good fight and remember God is good
