My son Braylon Allen is 16 years old, and he is one of God’s greatest blessings in my life. He is kind, humble, funny, and has a quiet strength that inspires everyone who knows him. Behind his gentle spirit, Braylon has been battling Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC); a rare, chronic liver disease that causes inflammation and scarring of the bile ducts.
PSC affects approximately 1 in 10,000 people, and it requires lifelong monitoring, specialist care, regular testing, and treatments to support liver function and prevent complications. Although this diagnosis has been heavy, Braylon has faced each appointment, procedure, and lab result with courage and faith beyond his years.
As a mother, I trust God with my child’s health, but I also believe that God places people in our lives to carry the weight during difficult seasons. This fundraiser is part of that provision.
