Family and friends of Conall Kingrey are raising money for the nonprofit Help Hope Live to fund uninsured medical expenses associated with a transplant. Conall has chosen to fundraise with Help Hope Live in part because donations are tax deductible for contributors and will only be used to cover medical and related expenses.
Hi, I’m Conall Kingrey, and I’m fighting for a second chance at life.
But there’s hope. Doctors say a kidney transplant is my best path forward. It would mean freedom from dialysis, more energy to continue visiting nursing homes and assisting living seniors in need of Communion and prayers, a real shot at a future. I’m also an Usher at my church, sit with those who are dying without anyone and attend Mass daily. The surgery itself is covered [or partially covered] by insurance, but the out-of-pocket costs are overwhelming. Anti-rejection medications costly, travel and follow-ups and unexpected complications are costly.
Without help, the financial burden could delay or derail this lifesaving opportunity. That’s why I’m reaching out to our community, friends, family, and kind strangers—every dollar brings me closer to a new kidney and a renewed life. I’m asking for your help.
