Adam Gaedke Spinal Injury Recovery Page
On Tuesday August 18th, Adam Gaedke was in an accident that changed everything in an instant. He underwent spinal surgery at Theda Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin, and is now at the Craig Spinal Rehabilitation Center in Denver, one of the best facilities in the country for exactly this kind of fight.
And it’s a fight Adam is built for. Anyone who knows him knows he doesn’t do anything halfway. He’s the guy who disappears for a Saturday and comes back having ridden 150 miles on his road bike like it was nothing. That same discipline and stubborn refusal to quit is exactly what rehabilitation demands, and if anyone can out-work a recovery like this, it’s Adam.
Above all things, Adam is a devoted dad. Back home in Kohler, Wisconsin, his wife Lauren and their two boys, Arlo and Greer, are waiting for him. This injury doesn’t just affect Adam. It upends his family’s entire day-to-day life, and the costs that come with it.
We’re raising money through Help Hope Live, a nonprofit that makes sure 100% of your donation goes directly to the Gaedke family’s uninsured medical and recovery expenses.
Adam has shown up for so many of us over the years. Now it’s our turn to show up for him. Whatever you can give, and sharing this page even if you can’t, makes a real difference for Lauren, Arlo, Greer, and Adam.

Adam and Lo have had a profound impact on my life, and they so graciously accepted me into their lives with open arms when I started watching the boys years ago. I\'d ask Adam, \"so how far did you go?\" or \"how many miles you riding today?\" and he\'d give some crazy (to me) number, like it was just another easy task checked off the list. But I know it takes determination and grit to go as far as he does. I\'ve always admired the dedication and commitment Adam and Lo have had toward the things and people they love.
Knowing that about both of them, I have no doubt those same qualities they put into their passions and their family will carry them through this rehab and healing journey.
