Family and friends of Linda Smith are raising money to pay for uninsured medical expenses associated with transplantation. Here is Linda’s story.

The medical bills that now confront Linda are overwhelming. She will need very expensive anti-rejection medications for the rest of her life as well as regular costly heart biopsies. And unfortunately, the monthly co-pay with her limited insurance is extraordinarily high. For this year alone, Linda and her family need to raise a minimum of $50,000.

To help ease the burden of these ongoing medical expenses, a fundraising campaign has been established in Linda’s honor with HelpHOPELive.
