On September 25th, 2010 Alex Tirpack fell from a seven-story building, sustaining multiple serious injuries including a devastating spinal cord injury. The accident left Alex paralyzed from the abdomen down, but his most important faculties, his brain and his spirit, were thankfully unharmed.

Over the past few months Alex has worked tirelessly at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ to become independent again. Practicing strength and mobility training, Alex has shown encouraging results in recovery. His motivation and positive attitude have inspired many: friends, family and strangers alike.
